GBCI Circle event: May 2022 in Munich, Germany

Europe is home to nearly 8,000 commercial projects registered or certified to LEED, with a combined area of over 201 million gross square meters and more than 3,000 LEED professionals.

In honor of this forward-thinking region, GBCI Europe will host Circle 2022, a multiday, intimate gathering for Europe’s LEED consultants, property owners and investors to connect, learn and explore. From May 4 to 6, we will convene in Munich, Germany, to discuss the most critical topics in green building.

May 4: Connect

Networking event: Gemütlichkeit at Hofbräukeller | 18:30–22:30 CEST

Day one offers an evening reception featuring Bavarian culture and traditional cuisine at one of Munich’s most beloved gathering places.

May 5: Learn

Program: The Charles Hotel | 08:00–16:30 CEST

Networking event: Feierabend at The Charles Hotel Sofia Bar | 16:30–18:00 CEST

On day two, join education sessions spanning topics like financing green buildings, TCFD, ESG, the EU taxonomy and more. LEED Zero and Arc will also be center stage.

May 6: Explore

Walking tour: Starting at The Charles Hotel | 09:00–11:00 CEST

Join us for a "Discover LEED Tour" of Munich, hosted by GBCI managing director Kay Killmann. This 5-kilometer walking tour visits some of central Munich’s notable LEED certifications and “green” features.


The cost for this event is €327.25, which includes all events and meeting materials.

Space is limited. The event has a limit of 150 attendees.
