Green building experts ensure LEED review successes

Heather Benjamin

The green building experts who work on LEED certification reviews are professionals who bring their extensive experience to bear in considering project documentation. When GBCI awards LEED certification to a project—be it office, school or hospital—you can be sure that these experts have applied rigorous standards in evaluating it, with the same care the project team applied in designing and building. LEED rating system standards, which are reviewed annually, have been met by more than 3 billion square feet of real estate.

Applying the gold standard

The professionals who apply these exacting standards are leaders in their field: LEED APs, USGBC Faculty, ASHRAE committee members, licensed engineers and architects, to name a few qualifications. Their dedication to maintaining and improving LEED certification and credentialing exam best practices ensures that LEED remains the gold standard for greening the places in which we live, learn, work and play.

Before, during and after a review, you can contact LEED reviewers with your questions—they're here to help.
