Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) works in collaboration with our partners at the World Resources Institute (WRI) and ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, to deliver the Urban Greenhouse Gas Inventory Specialist credential as part of the City Climate Planner program.
GBCI is looking for volunteer subject matter experts (SMEs) to join a working group to review the Urban Greenhouse Gas Inventory Specialist exam eligibility and credential maintenance requirements. GBCI periodically examines credential requirements as part of a continuous cycle of improvement, to maintain the high quality and relevance of our credentials and ensure that they continue to be positioned to build capacity and expertise in the market.
Successful applicants will gain beneficial experience exercising their knowledge of the Global Protocol for Community-Scale Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventory methodology while earning continuing education (CE) credit. The SME working group will meet for two 2-hour virtual meetings in early May 2021 to discuss the current exam eligibility and credential maintenance requirements and revalidate the existing requirements or develop recommendations for changes, as appropriate.
Early May 2021.
Two 2-hour meetings will be held remotely via Zoom. Meetings will be held in English.
Subject matter experts must:
- Be an Urban Greenhouse Gas Inventory Specialist credential holder in good standing
- Complete and submit all application documentation.
